Welcome to my Web site! I created this site to help other find good places to stay in Pinellas County, Florida, which is my home and my favorite place. After many years of shoveling snow in the cold North, I moved to Pinellas County and discovered paradise. I'm so happy here, I can't believe it. I have to pinch myself after every beautiful sunset on the beach, just to make sure I'm not dreaming.

Pinellas County encompasses the Pinellas Peninsula, which is on the west coast of Florida. The entire coastline is one long, white, uncrowded beach. The beach stretches from Clearwater, in the north, to Pass-a-Grille, in the south. Between them there are many small towns that have grown up and blended together into one long, relaxed beach town. Each town has its own unique stretch of sand. Clearwater beach has soft sand and lots of things to do. Pass-a-Grille is one of the most pristine, and tends to have the most shells.

This site is a labor of love. Over the years, I've explored every nook and cranny of Pinellas County beaches. I've discovered some wonderful places (which I share on this site), and a few not-so-wonderful ones (don't worry, I haven't added those!). Many of the nicest hotels and motels I've found aren't advertised in the local guidebooks. They're pretty, unassuming places run by friendly people.

To make this site as useful as possible, I've created a list of my favorite places to stay in Pinellas County. As I said, not every place is listed here - only my favorites.
